Painting for Wellness is an innovative program that combines painting techniques with self-expression and stress reduction and insight.

The program is a structured 6 week course that takes place in a therapeutic environment. Participants with all levels of skill and experience are encouraged to attend, as the program emphasizes the process of art-making, not the final product. Facilitation is encouraging, positive and intended to inspire the creation of high-success projects. Participants will explore water color and acrylic paint, as well as incorporating some mixed media into the painting projects. Journaling is also integrated into the program.

Each session of Painting for Wellness is unique, organic and unlike any other session, making this a program that can be enjoyed many times by participants.

The program is offered in Chicago by Amy Lynn, a registered art therapist (ATR) and licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC). She created the group and has been facilitating it for the last 6 years for a wide audience of people hoping to experience how the creative process can help them find balance and wellness. All art materials are included in the cost of the program. Payment in full is expected prior to the first session.

Participants must be at least 18.
